The story

DorkSense is an AI video generation and scheduling platform for YouTube creators. It is one of LogicLeap's own products, built under Function Forge rather than for a client. The app pairs Anthropic's Claude with the YouTube Data API so a creator can go from idea to generation, scheduling and publishing without leaving the dashboard, and publish to Instagram, TikTok and Twitter from the same place. It is built for web and iOS.

The challenge

A creator publishing to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter is working across four separate products, each with its own upload flow and its own place to check numbers. DorkSense pulls that work into one product: idea generation, prompt work, content generation, scheduling, publishing and analytics in a single dashboard. Being a LogicLeap product rather than client work, it also carries its own subscription billing and its own account security.

What we built

Claude powers three parts of the workflow: idea brainstorming for deciding what to make, content generation itself, and prompt enhancement to sharpen a prompt before anything is generated from it. They are three named features rather than one general-purpose assistant.

Publishing to YouTube runs through direct API integration rather than exporting a file and uploading it again by hand. The YouTube Data API integration sends video straight to a creator's channel from inside DorkSense, and the same dashboard publishes to Instagram, TikTok and Twitter. Around that sit the scheduling system, project management and analytics, so planning, work in progress and performance all live in the product the video was made in.

The build is Next.js 15 with Tailwind CSS 4. Stripe handles subscription billing and Twilio provides multi-factor authentication. MFA earns its place here because creators connect their YouTube channels to the app, so account security and channel security are the same thing. The interface uses a neo-brutalist design system.
